Remote Learning Activities:
All remote learning activities can be found in our Google Classroom. Weekly activities will be posted in Google Classroom every Monday morning. Students can work on these activities at their own pace if and when your situation allows.
Google Classroom
Students have access to Google classroom through their school Google account. This application allows me to communicate directly with students. I will be posting frequent updates for students on Google Classroom. Such updates include: general announcements, weekly activities, online resources, and more. Please encourage your child to continue checking Google Classroom for the most up-to-date information. Students can also use Google Classroom to share their work with me or ask me questions about the weekly activities.
Google Hangout Video Chats
Our class will meet weekly through Google Hangout. This is completely optional, but is a fun way for our class to connect from our own homes. As we continue to learn through remote learning, I will be adjusting our virtual meeting schedule. Starting the week of May 4, 2020 our class will have two whole group virtual meetings every Monday and Thursday at 10:00 am. In addition to our whole class meetings, I will continue to offer weekly mini chats. Please click here for detailed information about our weekly mini chats. If you need help navigating Google Hangout, check out this helpful cheat sheet.
Contacting Me
I will be available by email throughout the duration of remote learning. I will be checking email during school hours and will respond within 24 hours. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out. I am here to help you and your child with anything you need.
Below you will find all necessary resources for remote learning. Please check back frequently, as I will continue to add to this page as needed.
